Percepción de los estudiantes de la UPC en comparación a los cadetes de la EOFAP en relación a la imagen institucional de la Fuerza Aérea del Perú

Abstract

El objetivo principal de realizar el presente estudio parte de la urgencia de conocer desde la percepción de estudiantes de la Universidad Peruana de Ciencias Aplicadas (UPC) y los cadetes de la Escuela de Oficiales de la Fuerza Aérea del Perú (EOFAP) la Imagen institucional de la Fuerza Aérea del Perú, desde su función, valores y reconocimiento como institución cautelar del frente interno y externo del país. Para realizar el presente estudio partimos por aplicar un instrumento a los dos grupos muestras, para considerar las percepciones de ambos jóvenes estudiantes sobre la institución militar. Se consideró como dimensiones género y centro de estudio. La muestra estuvo conformada por 51 universitarios de la UPC y 44 cadetes de la EOFAP, tomando en cuenta la dimensión de cada una de ellas, teniendo un total de 95 sujetos. El instrumento fue el Cuestionario de la Percepción de la Imagen Institucional de la FAP (Lima, 2015). Se realizó la operacionalización dividiendo los 20 ítems del cuestionario en tres dimensiones, luego el análisis y los resultados obtenidos del estadístico estaban referidos a cada dimensión por separado. Los estadísticos utilizados fueron: Coeficiente de Correlación Múltiple de Pearson, Regresión Lineal y Prueba t. Los resultados indican que la percepción de la imagen institucional en la FAP es positiva y que la percepción de los universitarios de la UPC tiene mejores niveles que la de los cadetes de la EOFAP.

The main objective of this study is based on the urgency of knowing from the perception of students of the Peruvian University of Applied Sciences (UPC) and the cadets of the School of Officers of the Air Force of Peru (EOFAP) the institutional image of the Air Force of Peru, from its function, values ​​and recognition as a prudential institution of the internal and external front of the country. In order to carry out the present study, we started by applying an instrument to the two sample groups, to consider the perceptions of both young students about the military institution. Gender and study center were considered as dimensions. The sample consisted of 51 university students from the UPC and 44 cadets of the EOFAP, taking into account the size of each of them, with a total of 95 subjects. The instrument was the Questionnaire of the Perception of the Institutional Image of the FAP (Lima, 2015). The operationalization was done by dividing the 20 items of the questionnaire into three dimensions, then the analysis and the results obtained from the statistic were referred to each dimension separately. The statistics used were: Pearson Multiple Correlation Coefficient, Linear Regression and Test t. The results indicate that the perception of the institutional image in the FAP is positive and that the perception of the university students of the UPC has better levels than that of the cadets of the EOFAP
